I’ve been using my Nutribullet religiously since last Saturday and I’m still not tired of it (though others might be tired of me mentioning it!). I’ve mostly experimented with various fruit combinations, usually adding spinach and now flax.
Today’s lunch was a further experiment: spinach, ginger, carrots, flax and beetroot.
It was…interesting. The colour was the main turn-off..it looked like brown sludge. And as for the taste? The beetroot was a little overpowering. So much so, I could hardly taste the ginger. And there was quite a lump of it in there!
So, lesson learnt: beetroot should be taken in moderation. And I probably should have added something sweeter in there as well, like some orange or apple.
But I finished it all and was very, very filling.
Next experiment will involve broccoli. Watch this space.
