So… about that iPad?

Regular readers of this opinionated drivel may recall I got my sweaty little hands on an iPad a few weeks back. And truthfully, it’s rarely been out of said hands since. Seriously. This is the gadget of my dreams.

In the last few weeks, I’ve used the iPad to:

  • Watch a film while flying home from Rome (the amazing 2001: A Space Odyssey, in case you were wondering)
  • Tweet like a toddler with ADHD
  • Read magazines, comics, novels and blogs galore
  • Read and edit chapters of my doctoral dissertation
  • Play Scrabble. A lot.

And many more equally geeky tasks. It’s like it was made for me. Indeed, I’ve become quite the iPad fan. Or iPad Advocate, if you will. Yes, I’m so enamoured that I’ve dedicated more of my minimal work-and-doctorate-free time to writing a blog about the device. You can keep up to date with all of my iPad-lreated gushings here, including news, reviews and of course rumours.

I mean, you can’t have a technology themed blog without conjecture and rumour, can you?

  1. You are too cute! I’m sure it’s way badass!

I’d love one but would need 3G data and sooo not able to pay for that on 2 devices. I’m gonna hold onto the 3GS as long as I can, too…

Apple should just send me the new everything 🙂

    1. I agree. Apple should us both one of everything. I’d personally save a fortune. I’m quite proud of my restraint in the face of the iPhone 4, actually. I’ll be holding off until next year. Despite my other half getting one and waving it about in a very provocative manner…
